Goiânia faz reunião em preparação ao 29º Grito

A reunião aconteceu na sede do Sindicato dos Trabalhadores das Instituições Federais de Ensino Superior – Sint-IFESGO, no dia 07/08 – Dia D do Grito.
"Você tem fome e sede de quê?" Essa é a pergunta que ecoa nas ruas de Goiânia, capital de Goiás, em um estado rico em agronegócio.
O Lema do Grito desse ano não é apenas uma pergunta retórica. Em um estado referenciado pelo agronegócio e exportação de alimentos, é paradoxal e alarmante que muitos/as ainda passem fome. Segundo dados do IBGE, o Brasil tem mais de 10 milhões de pessoas em situação de insegurança alimentar grave. Em Goiás, apesar de sua produção agrícola robusta, muitos/as ainda enfrentam essa realidade.
O Grito dos Excluídos, que acontece anualmente no dia 7 de setembro, data da independência do Brasil, busca dar visibilidade às violações de direitos humanos. Em especial, no estado de Goiás, o foco é na segurança alimentar. Mas o movimento vai além. Ele/a questiona outras "fomes" que a sociedade enfrenta: fome de justiça social, fome de direitos, entre outras.
